So, I tried searching, but didn't find much as to my actual questions about HID lighting.
I just got my 07, MazdaSpeed 3. I love it but, would like to have the HID lights. I'm a n00b. So here goes...My questions: Where to buy the HID replacement kits. What size bulbs to buy, what specs...ex, once I get to the website there will be 800 different options, what exactly am I looking for? How hard are they to install? Can you provide any help with such an installation or is there any guides in doing so? |

Thanks. I got 7000k lights for really cheap but I'll probably end up going lower because they aren't bright enough for me. But on the flip side they look really cool. Haha. |

Hi, my son has a web site where he sells HID kits for all cars. You can also call him and he can answer any questions you may have about HID lights. He installed a set in my 2008 CX-9 for Father's Day and it's the best gift he ever gave me! His Web Site is: www.headlightsupercenter.com, but call him and he can answer any question and give you a super price! Call Steve at 504-452-8824 Good luck and enjoys the "daylight"! Bob |

I bought my kit from dabears2k.com. They were about $115 shipped. Its a 35 watt 6000K kit. The install is simple enough.
1) remove front bumper 2) remove each headlight assembly 3) wire them up 4) put headlights back in 5) put bumper back on THIS is a link where you can find out how to remove the bumper and headlight assembly. To wire the HID's.... 1) disconnect the negative battery cable and set it where it won't come in contact with the positive terminal ( you may want to wrap it in something) 2) remove your stock halogen bulbs and put them somewhere safe. You never know when you might need them. 3) mount the ballast somewhere. ( I just ziptied right behind where the headlight assay would sit. There is 3 holes, two on top side by side and then one below in the middle. It worked perfect to attache the ballasts.) 4) Then plug the little metal terminals on the provided wiring kit into your cars low beam harness. 5) plug the other end of that wire mentioned above into the ballast. 6) plug the other included wire into the other end of the ballast and into your HID bulb*. and plug the hid bulb into the socket (be sure and fit the rubber dust cover over the hole to prevent moisture from getting into the headlight assembly) *be sure to be VERY careful when removing the HID bulb from the plastic protective casing. **I know this seems like a very vague how to, but once you buy the kit and look at it, its pretty self explanatory. Hope this helps -Kevin
