I'm new to this website and I feel this is where I will get my best results from mazda experts. So I have been considering buying a Mazda 3 GT 5-Door sometime in the Spring. I'm just curious are Mazda's good cars and just what to expect being a new mazda driver as I now drive a 97 Eclipse. I appreciate all the help (Well advice or w/e).

I would definitely recommend the Mazda3. In my opinion, the 3 is one of the greatest cars you can buy for the money. You get good gas mileage (especially with the 2.0). The 3 also has plenty of pick up for a 4 cylinder economy car. Its got way more torque than a civic could dream of. The Mazda3 also has very nice handling considering what it is. If you have the money however, I would definitely suggest the Mazdaspeed3. Its the turbo version of the 3 and has 263 HP.
