As far as being leary of a brand they are all unknown to me.. ;-)

I am very good with electronics however. (Helicopter crewchief in Air Force) To my understanding the bulbs are all pretty much the same between 35 and 55w of the same brand. The only difference is the ballast. What they are doing is producing an adjustable 55w ballast that cuts down the juice to 35w when the trigger is switched. Having said that Im not buying them..

Im getting the ExPower Japanese HID Kit - Mazda3 http://www.dabears2k.com/product_info.php?...products_id=239
as they are from Japan and have the lifetime warranty.

Question

B4

After

Ive had them on for a week and noone has flashed me. I must say Im tempted to get them for my highbeams too. But I think I might just get some Sylvaina Ultra Whites so the highs dont look so yellow when they come on.

I bought a kit from Dabears2k(dot)com

They are 35 watt 6000K and I love them. The kit came with a battery harness which you don't really need for a 35 watt kit, but it does offer peace of mind. My kit was around $115 or something. You can find kits hella cheap on ebay but mine came with a lifetime warranty which I would definitely suggest. I disabled my parking lights also. The turn signals still work, but the park lights stay off while driving. If anybody is interested in how to do this, let me know and I'll do a write up. Unless of course its already been done :P

Heres some pictars:
