Disabling Panic Button on Remote Keyless Entry FOB
Does anyone know if it is possible to reprogram/disable the panic button on the remote keyless entry FOB for a 2008 Mazda3 so that it doesn't sound the car's alarm when it is pressed? I've had numerous instances where the button gets accidentally pressed, e.g., when I reach into my pocket for my keys. One of my friends has been having the same problem with their Mazda3 FOB. It's very annoying, especially when it happens in the early morning or late evening hours!
