Default Priority Unlocking of Drivers Door

Hi , I have just taken delivery of a gorgeous new Mazda 3 sport and I want to know if there is a way of changing the door opening function to open only the driver's door on one press then open the others on the second press. Mazda service told me no but I searched on google and came across a link to this forum with a cached answer that indicated I could but I can't get into the full answer.

My last 4 previous cars which were all different brands had the ability to do this - does anyone know if I can change it on a Mazda? At the moment all 4 doors open at once and to lock the doors I have to press the button inside the car that locks all 4.

Thanks in advance.

I am a bit confused by your post....
Do you mean the key fob does not lock the doors at any time, but unlocks all 4 w/one push of the fob button?
If I understood your post to be this, I think this is wrong.
With my '04, one push of the unlock button opens the driver's side door only. Two pushes it unlocks all, including the hatch.
One push of the lock button locks all doors/hatch. A second push will sound the horn and flash the running lights, assuming all doors/hatch are properly closed. If they aren't, it attempts to actuate the locks solenoids again w/no horn or lights.
