Insane Screaming Sound from Engine
Newbie here ... today my 3 (2008) came from a stop and started making a very loud noise, like a siren, high decibel, constant high pitch. I thought it was an emergency siren, but it followed me. My passengers remarked it was my car, so I tried a few things like applying the brake, coasting, revving, turning the wheel, but the pitch and decibels remained the same, really high. I stopped at a light and shut the motor off and it died down to zero. Restarted and it was fine. Has anyone experienced this weird thing?
