About $2.85 per US gallon here as of today for the regular 87 (RON+MON)/2 stuff, which is equivalent to 91 RON octane.
Maybe $3.05 for premium 91 (RON+MON)/2 per gallon (equivalent to 95 RON).

The price of a gallon of gasoline in Caracas, Venezuela? Less than $0.15 per gallon. No wonder the US hates Hugo Chavez so much. Chavez even offered to sell fuel to the poorest of US residents at deep discounts if only to make the US government look bad. His little way of proving that our system is broken. Well, I'm convinced.

I was actually born in Venezuela its was pretty crazy back then before chavez I remember gas at $0.12 a gallon and since the dollars were worth so much more than Bolivares (the name of their currency) you could give the guy $4 to fill up the tank and keep the change and he'll fill it up for you with 95 octane gas. Our system is flawed in many ways and there are to many middle men. My dad owns 12 gas stations in Puerto Rico and he is suffering really badly, about 4 years ago he was making about 10-14 cents a gallon while right now hes making 3-6 cents per gallon which is almost not enough to cover the cost of evaporation of the fuel and running the pumps. All his stations are Exxon/Mobil by the way but he is slowly switching to independents which have the advantage right now.

Well Mexico is government controlled, PEMEX stations... when I was there last month it was only about 59 cents per litre. Up here in Toronto it is 99.8 cents per litre, and out in Halifax last week it was $1.08 per litre....
