Abortion

Pretty self explanatory. Since many are on the fence with this one, I also put in a Yes/No option basically for those who think cases where the mother's life is at risk or with other extenuating medical circumstances it should be allowed. Those in favor of late-term coat hanger abortions are better served with the "**** Yes" option.

I vote Yes, in some cases.. No in others.

If you accidentally get pregnant, and your not in a financial state to tke care of a child... If your too young... Still in school.. Cases like that.. BUT you better have a really good reason. I don't like the thought of it at all. OHH. And if you're gonna get it done. Please go to a doctor that has experience!!

But in other cases.. NO. If you're gonna have sex, have safe sex. OR don't do it at all.

I believe it is hypocritical to be for abortion when you are already born. If someone cant take care of a child, or made a mistake, etc. they should put it up for adoption and not murder it. Have you ever seen the statistics for abortion? Since 1973 when it was legalized there have been over 40 million of them. Abortion is used as a form of birth control for the most part, and that is wrong. As a Christian I believe life begins at conception, so if you don't want a baby use birth control, condoms, or better yet abstainance.

If a woman makes the decison that she abolutely cannot have this kid, and abortion is the only way we should not stop her. obviously she's in a bad situation and she is not fit to be a mother. if a child is raised by not only an unfit mother, but a mother that didnt want teh child to start with there will only be more problems in the future. And from that ill-parented child will come another and another and so on. I honestly believe that there wouldnt be so many gangs and complete cities run-down with violence and drugs, if instead of giving out wic, welfare, and foodstamps, the government just provided free abortions....

If you support the death penalty, birth control, and wars, then I don't believe you can reasonably say that abortion is wrong. PERIOD. Also, there are 100's of thousands of children living in foster care thanks to parents who refused to abort or use birth control. You don't see people rushing to adopt children in this country; many kids end up growing up without ever having parents. Think about that.

I think it depends on the circumstances. If the person was just wreckless, then no, no abortion. But there are cases, like Millyowner, pointed out where it should be allowed. If it's a risk to the mother's life, or the result of rape, then yes, I fully support abortion.

To be perfectly honest, I think people should be sterilized at birth and then have to apply to have kids (at which point the sterilization would be reversed). There are a lot of people that have kids, that shouldn't have kids. They shouldn't be allowed to have pets, let alone kids.
