Locking Horn too loud!

Does anyone know how to turn off or turn down the volume on the horn sound that comes when you hit lock twice on the key fob? It's driving us nuts since we were used to double clicking on our last car. I usually remember not to hit twice but my husband doesn't drive the car that much and he often forgets and anyone within a hundred yards jumps out of their skin.
