My 2008 CX-9 "roars" when I turn!

I definitely plan to have this checked out ASAP, but wonder if anyone's experienced this before. When I turn, sometimes -- not all the time -- there is a roaring noise. I have heard it from the front end as well as the back end. At first I thought there was a wrench or something sliding around, but it is louder than that. It happens with lefts turns as well as right.

Any ideas?

It sounds like your brake shims are not in place, sometimes weather can enhance this noise. Do you notice your CX-9 making the sound more frequently when it's cold outside?
