i am new to these forums and have a ? for you guys. how does this sound for a project car, a cheap 90-93 mx-5 miata with the 1.6l rebuilt with better rods and low compression pistons (and some supporting mods such as copper headgasket, arp fasteners etc.) + the greddy kit with the boost upped with a fmic and custom tune. what kind of #'s might i see and what would this approx cost? any input would be appreciated. if any of this wouldn't work, forgive me i am a newb to the miata in general.

if you're going to all the trouble to rebuild the motor, get a custom / better quality kit.

i love the greddy quality, but they are designed more for the 'subtle daily drivers'... not the all out power getters... the turbos are usually relatively mid-sized and will not get you huge power numbers... they will be good drivers though...

or just swap in a V8 and not worry about the turbo...
