I just bought a 1991 Miata a couple of weeks ago. From my understanding, the engine has basically been rebuilt. New seals, valves, etc. However, within the past couple of days it has started to emit bluish/white smoke from the exhaust when I start it. It is random and doesn't happen every time I start it, and it goes away after it's driven for a little bit.

Anyone have any ideas? I love driving it and I just want it to be in tip-top shape.

Rings, valve seals or head gasket. Or the oil you're running is too thin. Maybe try something a little heavier.

People demand freedom of speech to make up for the freedom of thought which they avoid.

Words should be a little wild, for they are the assault of thought on the unthinking.
