I have a 95 mazda protege with a 1.5L.
The car won't start when it's been raining for a while. It runs great when it's dry outside. While it was raining today I pulled a plug wire off and put a screwdriver in it and layed it up aginst the bolt off the strut tower. I got a good spark.I checked the dist. cap for moisture and found none. Now, one more thing. the radiator sprung a leak a while back and was replaced. This problem didn't start untill AFTER the radiator was replaced... Could the antifreeze have gotten in the distributor and caused problems?? Anyone have any ideas?? Remember, it runs great when it's dry outside!!! Thanks!!! |
