hey guys i have a 1988 mazda 323 that was a enduro itb class race car. i picked it up for pretty cheap and am looking to do some autoXing with it but i want to get some more power out of it. i was wondering if the sohc b6 head out of my 88 323 will directly swap out with a DOHC b6 head from a 1.6L miata?
thanks- |

Of course you can. I just got done doing that swap it is a fairly easy swap all you really need to do that is different is swap the alt. pully and move the little spacer from the front of the power steering pump pully to the back of the pully. After that it is pretty straight foward every thing is interchangable the only difference is the crank nose is 3mm bigger(this is a very good thing the GTX cranks are notorius for breaking) and you'll have a higher compression. It will give you good mid range power.
