As most of you know i have a 929 with the crappy old JE V6 in it, ive finally bit the bullet and im going DOHC JE-ZE. Should be fun

well to cut a long story short the crappy old SOHC JE V6 motor went bang and it seems to ave ****** a valve, well what better time to replace it with a DOHC JE-ZE that pushes just over 200hp..

in order to use the DOHC motor we had to get a loom and computer for it, what a job that was!

here is the donor motor for the loom that i want down at U-pull-it wreckers:

DOHC motor looks different without the manifold cover, whats the mileage on the engine ?

how come your 929 looks dropped ? what suspension you running ?

9ine, the motor im getting has 70,000 kms on it. the suspension im running are Industrial Springs that i got custom made for a 2 1/2 inch drop.

well turns out ive had a stroke of luck, Fours N More which is a very reputable workshop here in adelaide has done a few conversions on the HC 929 before and it turns out that the 929 down at the wreckers was in fact one of their conversions, so, by accident i pulled out the loom thinking it was the DOHC loom when infact it is a custom made loom that actually lets me bolt the DOHC motor straight into my car.
