Yeah Sickwilly, I'll let you know if you still feel uncomfortable about it....as far as that clutch driven fan, maybe its time to think about an electric fan! Its on my list of things I'll do down the road when I have the money!!

so i guess you got it cut before the axle, ill check it wen u put pics up. if you are willing to rip that huge muffler outta there the car will lose about 40lbs which is always beneficial. id go with something along the lines of the pilot tip but theres a shitload of resonated tips on the market, get one that fits properly if you are not welding it on.
torque is the force behind the engine that gets the car off the line, ours peaks @ 4000RPM. horsepower takes over afterwards and falls off shortly before redline, or about 6000RPM on our 929's.

if you buy a K&N it should come wid clamps, not sure but clamps are easy to find. get a metel adapter. ![]() so you just ripped off the exhaust and your still getting a Dynamax ? id go Borla if your sticking with a domestic muffler. where do you plan on mounting the muffler ? where the resonator is ? check these http://www.borla.com/products/product_mult...rbo+XL+Mufflers

Hey 9ine, are you knocking a few back while you browse the forum tonight??lol The post you just quoted was my first one....I confused, I think you thought I was asking the same questions again or something...I realize that you listed everything I need in that first response, and I've started to aquire them....I order up a 90 degree bended pipe from summit and the k&n filter, and I got some other stuff from autozone..it was actually cool, they had a metal maf adapter with a square fitting for the back like we need and it has a hole already in it with a grommet for a sensor or vacuum line..they also had a vacuum line kit with a few different connectors and grommets in it so that you know you get the right one...and I was able with your explanation and pics at the beginning of the thread to figure it all out...thanks for all the help!! And thanks for the explanation of torque vs horsepower!

Haaa..that's some funny stuff. Anyway, yeah I'm gonna do the intake..just gathering all the parts right now...btw, what did you use to drill that hole down to the well?? I'm curious to see how you went about that. Also I just ran into something: The inside diameter of the flange on the the filter is 3", so I ordered up a 3" OD pipe....I just measured the maf adapter and it also has a OD of 3", so that ain't right! I guess I'll just jb weld that thing up, you think that's cool?? So now I'm looking around for a 2.5" resonated tip for my exhaust with a 3" outlet for cheap...its quite a search. I just installed some new hood lift supports and a new tail light assembly because the old one had a hole in it...there's two things that have bothered me forever....

i used a drill bit, traced a 3" diameter hole where i wanted the pipe to go and started drilling away. i know i should have used a jigsaw wid a metal cutting blade or sumthin but thats all i had to work wid. took about 30 or so drill holes to pop out then i filed it down. and just so no water would run down into it i used some putty stuff around it, check the pic.
u got everything right with it all being 3" cause all u need now is a sleeve like my AEM one and some clamps. you dont need JB weld for anything. tips are not hard to find, dont you have any real tuner shops down there ? you must have. my hood supports are toast, how much did u pay for yours ? i never fixed mine cause its not worth the money to me, i jus carry around vice grips and i have big stick at home when i mess around under the hood.
