Nice, mine have gone on both driver and passenger sides. Where did you get your new buttons from?

i had them made up out of really hard plastic from a mate on a lathe for $30...

easy if you have one still intact to copy...

and you can get them from mazda you just have to buy the glass window apparently...

Just make sure you adjust the guides properly before putting the trim back on or the window won't
be water tight and will whistle at speed.

Just found this write up again. Brilliant bit of work. Finally getting around to doing this job as both my front windows guides have gone.

Anyone found a place to get them from yet? But how bad my windows are i dont think ill have an original one to copy to make new ones.

What i am looking at is getting all four spun in brass or similar with maybe an o-ring for buffer (to minimize wear).

Got an old school restorer here (does a lot of British) he looked at it and said best thing possibly to do brass, i agree. got to get all 4 done, haven't opened rear windows for probably 5 years :/
