"Tonight I went ahead and replaced my belts. I wasn't sure how hard it was going to be, but they really needed to be changed. It ended up not being as hard as I was expecting, for comparison it was easier than replacing the sparkplugs. I took pictures along the way and typed up a guide because the guide in the tech section is from the factory service manual and leaves out a few details." Guide to Changing Serpentine Belts

Thanks. Great guide. I just did my serpentine belts with this guide. Twelve year old original belts that were really ready to bit the dust. This is sooooo much better than the Workshop Manual. Especially the tip about pulling back the front half of the wheel well spash cover, and the tip about duct taping the wrench on the serpentine belt tool. My serpentine belt tool has a crow's foot for that size, but you can't get a good grab on the tensioner bolt with a crow's foot (might strip it). The duct tapped wrench works perfect.
