626 / Miata wheel compatibility ??

I have a 2000 Mazda 626 LX V6 with the 16" wheel option. They're constantly losing air, even after I've have the beads cleaned by a couple different local shops. The tech's repeatedly tell me I need new rims due to the corrosion on them. I've located a set of 16" rims from a 2005 Miata with a 5 bolt pattern. Can anyone tell me if these would work on my 626? I've tried to cross reference them at several different sites but can't seem to get a definite answer.

Thanks for any help!!

I believe the newer Miata has a wider wheels and may cause some rubbing issue once installed in a 626.

If you have the budget you can buy an aftermarket brand that would suite better for your 6.
