Sorry for backing up my own post, but I haven't had a reply to it and I figured that SOMEBODY here has some insight on this one....so....what does a clutch that has started to slip feel like?[/b]
It makes the rpms sway if slipping, test like this: drive around 50 mph in 4th, apply full throttle and quickly step on the clutch pedal and remove the foot sideways before overreving. The rpms should settle on same rpm as speed equals immediately. But expect said shiver, I have the same in my 04 Mazda 6 if being harsh with the clutch. I believe it comes from the entire drivetrain shaking due to soft mounts. I also experience front wheel stepping if spinning a wheel on gravel or snow.

Bear in mind these new Mazdas are fragile instruments compared to earlier generations. Mazda went zoom zoom but oops, what about the build quality? I am almost embarrased about my 6. Hopefully it will stay decent a while after the recent $15k rust repair.

Regarding the topic; print it out, show your dealer the part about clutch cylinder replacement under warranty and tell them you want a new one too

Edit: I didn't notice it was a bumped thread.
