I know this is off the topic, but I know everyone in this forum is familiar with the mightly Toyota Supra Turbo. Last night, I came across a red 1998 Supra Turbo (manual) with 24k miles. This Supra was in excellent, excellent condition. It had all the factory options. I swear, I was almost ready to drop my Mill. for this monster.

The sad part is, the car has a sticker price of $46,000! Can you believe this!? If anyone is in the local area, you can check out this Supra at the Toyota dealership in Rockville, MD.

They must be on crack. There are cars that are faster and BRAND SPANKIN NEW (ie, the 350Z from Nissan), or ****.. even a nice S4 from Audi, or a 2001 M3 (333 horsepower).

Why the **** would you get a Supra over those cars? Supra just looks cool, but otherwise.. piece of ****.

I see that we both agree on the price issue of the Supra and alternate cars that can be had for the asking price of this particular Supra. In terms of the Supra being crap-YOU WRONG my brotha. Supra Turbo's, have the ability to smoke just about any street legal car on the road, with as little as $6,000 in performance upgrades.

I might also add that, a stock Supra Turbo, is already stomping $hit!-No mad $hit. One of the best thing about the Sups is your getting Toyota reliability. Toyota developed and introduced the Supra-a car before its time. Way before its consumer base was capable of accepting what is was and its price. Therefore, we witnessed its demise.

I'd be kewl to see Toyota re-introduce the Supra, for like a 2005 model year.

The bottom line was, if the Sup was priced accuratley (mid-high $20k range) I would have bought the car. Because at a fair price, it would be very difficult to find anything better* than it. In terms of stock performance and performance increase potentials; and its condition was beyond prestine.

Gotcha...

I don't race, I just enjoy having 'fun' with my car. I even do it in my Milly, though that's very limited.

Supra doesn't handle well at all, I'd rather get a car that's RWD and handles really well.. like a BMW or something

If you ever sat with me in a capable car.. I'd scare the **** outta yah

I've driven the Supra, and yea, it's fast.. but it does NOT handle well. I can't control the tail kickouts, it understeers like mad, bleh.... It's great for straight strip racing though, but just not for a track like I destroy cars on

Before my cousin gave back his M3, I had a blast with that thing.. it's been a while since I've driven a RWD car though.
