Five hundred bucks to replace radiator hoses? And $750 for valve cover gaskets?
![]() So are they both made of titanium, or is the service performed by robots? Duncan - gotta be kidding mePS - 10 percent is only $390. That takes care of the engine covers and the brake fluid, at least...I'd shoot for 20 percent if I were you.

you should get the price brought down.... but you should get that service done too especially with an S model.... any preventative maintenance you can do will save you big time in the long run; especially if it concerns any leaks (trust me I speak from experience.) Also, with the S model you are going to pay a lot no matter what because people are scared of it + it's harder to work with than most any engine out there.

Yep, I have a hole in my pocket now.
But what i thought was that I am planning to keep this car for a while. I have installed new stereo with speakers, besides I REALLY like this car. So I decided just to pay for it. I wanted especially to stop all oil leaks, and like Exterm8r said, I would save few grand in the future by doing it all now. One thing that I found out was that S engine is clearance engine, so if timing belt would rip, it would not damage the engine. I guess, the better the car, the more expensive is the service. |
