NO SOUND!!! HELP!!

Can anybody help me. I have a 97 millenia and one day I got into my car and my speakers didnt work. The radio still works and sound still comes through the center speaker but not the fronts and rears. I figure it could be the amp. I havent bothered the system since I recently bought the car. Does anyone have any suggestions? How do I test the factory amp to see if its out?

could be a fuse and or loose wiring. but it is deficult to give you 100% correct answer without being able to see your car.

It sounds like it is the amplifier. NOw who knows why it stopped performing.
It could be many things check the fuse then check to make sure its getting power. If both of those things are working check your rca)if its an aftermarket amp) if not then you have a bad output on your amplifier.

i have the same problem, except the sound comes back sometimes for about 2 or 3 seconds then goes out

i cheked the fuses, and everything is fine

I'm no expert.....does the power turn off or just sound but the power to the HU stays on. Maybe loose wiring harness? My suggestion is to take it to a shop and ask them. Don't take it to the dealer, or you'll be walking away with a $150 repair bill and it still wont work .

I had a problem with my BOSE when I first got my milly. Good thing it hasn't came back.....I looked in the manual and reset the 'key' for the system. I guess that worked, cause it hasnt resurfaced for a good 8months.
