Could you be a little more specific? What is your actual dilemma?

I'd run the wires underneath the weatherstipping in the doors and then up under your seat into the trunk. Make sure too that you don't rim the RCA cables down the same side as the power cable. This causes noise. Other than that it's pretty straight forward. If you're feeling really ambitios you can take out the front seats and run the wires under the carpet........but I don't think it's worth it.

Hope this helps,

Mike

Removal of seats isn't neccessary when running wiring under the car's carpeting. Unless you'd want to run the wires directly underneath the car's seats?!?! Doing so makes no sense though.................

True you don't have to take out the seats to get under the edge of the carpet but if you want to use less wire and do a clean job (ie. no exposed wires at all) You can run the wires right down the middle under the carpet. I know it's not necessary but it's only an option.

grrr it took me forever, I have a 2000 but im guessing there about the same, i ran a 4gauge wire to my amp starting from the backseat, i pushed it though the side of the seat with a yardstick (ghetto) and into the trunk, along with the remote turn on, i than took up the foot gauge plastic plate thingy's and ran it underneath them, drilled aa small hole so i could feed it up behind the fuse box in front, then drilled a hole for it to come up and loop around into the engine compartment, that part sucked, and then just cut off the extra slapped on a fuse and im good there, then i took the RCA wires and ran them though the seats and under the plastic plate thingy's the other side and then behind and glove box and into the back of the headunit, whole thing took me about 4 hours, partly because of getting the power wire just right, and cause i kept changing my mind, if i did it again probably about an hour or so

It's true it does take alot of time!! First time I did it it probably took about 3 hours too. I've done it a couple of times for some friends of mine and you do get better at it after a while. One thing to make sure is that you do fill the hole in the firewall with something so water doesn't leak (silicone etc....i guess that's more important for us up in Raincouver :P).

I don't how how other model years/models are, but a millenia S engine compartment is CRAMPED, everything iv had something installed all they do is complain, well autothority did the least, but still, i didn't feel like being brothered with that, it comes out a hole on the side of the dash about 5 inchs below where the mirror is when closed, and then just ran it though the body panal gap and jammed it in between the metal guards for the hood hinges- if you look though the paneling you can see the wire for about 5 inchs, but only if you know where to look- but hey, if anyones interested ill install anything on a millenia (except rear 6x9's) HAS ANYONE RETROFIT 02 BMW M3 PROJECTOR LENSES AND HID'S IN- I NEED HELP

Does that wire go past your weatherstipping?? I did that on my old 323 and it triggered a water leak (the worst thing you can have i think). Like i said......up in Raincouver :P it sucks.
