does anybody know if I can use the factory wiring for replacing my speakers in a 97 milli? I know I will have to bypass the amp. I tried but it still doesnt work. Also how do you remove the rear 6x9's? I dont have rear deck compartment in my car. Please send me email for faster response at (ATLryda2@aol.com)

C'mon somebody help me out here. I need serious installation help here. I need to know how to wire up my speakers in the factory locations and also how to route my power wire through the fire wall. I know somebody has an aftermarket system that can help.

biggest pain I ever had. I have a 2000 S, and Im just going to assume its the same setup. if your using an aftermarket headunit then you must either bypass everything or have adaptors on the headunit and the speaker. if your doing just the speakers. then do not bypass anything. the front speakers are something like 55peak and the rears are like 90 peak. so the stock amps will power aftermarket speakers. ON TO THE REAR DECK. i finially broke down and let it be the only thing i personally did not do. you have to left up teh bottom on your back seat. I think theres 2 clips after you pull it up some your fingers can get to. then where the bottom part of your seat belt is there are some bolts you need to take out(NOT THE SEAT BELT ONES) after this is done you should be able to pull the back of the seat off. requires some effort but don't force it. make sure there's aren't extra clips or anything. then you can see some screws that hold the deck in place. undo them and it basicly just slides out. change speakers and replace. the only thing is when putting the bottom of the seat back on it takes alot of force to have the clips grab hold and get a firm grip(otherwise it feels kindi lose) i personally had to pretty much jump on it. hope it helps also if your gonna get an aftermarket headunit and speakers. I just made my own routing for the wires that came with the speakers. no need to fuse with factory wiring and amps and power failures and fuses and crap
