? on upgrading my system

I currently have a rockford fosqate 275x 2 amp and 2-12" fosqate subs
It dont sound as good as I would like
what do you think
should I get a better amp or better subs
i have warrenties for both and wish I could get use out of them
also what brands are the best for thump and quality

You left a lot out... what model subs are the RF's? The higher-end models can take a lot of wattage and if you put a lot into them they will get pretty **** loud. Give us more info (what model subs, what kind of box, what kind of car, etc.)

the subs are RF punch model z, 12" , their in a sealed box in the truck of my mazda 626

Well according to their specs you are pushing those subs the best you can... I would say keep the amp and upgrade to a better sub (even just 1 really good one with 500+ watts can sound awesome)

all jl's will be nice as ****. a SINGLE jl-10w7 can handle 1000watts and hits very loud and very tight. but if you wanna save money id go with 2 jl-10w3's in a sealed box

Who is your warranty through? I would say just sell them for like 60 bux a piece... you won't lose too much money. You probably won't want to spend a whole lot of money upgrading so I would say just upgrade to one good quality sub. W7's are too expensive.

I dont mind spending some money, but i dont know what the best is to get.

Probably I don't ever buy extended warranties on anything, is that what you got? Anyways, I still need a little more info... what kind of improvement are you looking for? Do you want it to get louder, hit harder, sound cleaner, or all of the above. I've heard the same model subs you have but a few years older and I thought they sounded decent. There are all different kinds of subs out there.... some get just plain loud, some are real accurate and musical, others can do both reasonably well.
