im thinking about buying a dvd/mp3 player for my car,.,. its a home theater DVD/mp3 player,.,. will it skip if i play it with alot bass and driving at the same time???

depends on the compression rate and if its anti-shock mechanism is good.

its a sony,.,. i dont know anything about it but i dont think it has a anti-skip

DVD players designed to operate in motor vehicles generally have good anti-shock mechanisms. But this doesn't mean they will NEVER skip.

I was just making sure it wasn't one of those $40 ones of ebay or something. If its Sony, and its new it probably will not skip much at all.

NO, that would cost $100. We are talking no name brands that no one has ever heard of. I kid you not, check it out. Its the funnies thing I've ever seen. Go to Hometheater in ebay and they are all over the place. Same with car products as well. hey 95 milly, can you be more specific about this dvd player? Is it in dash style with fold out screen?
