Hey Milli owners! Does anybody have an aftermarket radio with the center channel speaker still working? I finally got my system in but I didnt hook up the center channel. For one i dont know how to get to it, although i have an idea. and second i dont know what to hook it to. it seems ghetto to run it on one of the front speaker channels. I know a guy that replaced his with a 4" speaker but I didnt ask him how he did or how he ran it. Any of you change yours?

The only way I can see it hapening is if you hook up another amp just for a dedicated center speaker. If you were to go that route, you might want a 4 channel amp so you could hook up some tweeters too . I think that would sound Phat.

If you buy a head unit with the Dolby 5.1 out put, a processor w/dedicated center channel out put, or a deck with a DVD player (built in 5.1 usally). These are the "true" uses of the center channel system. I do however remember about 10 years ago doing system with a small bridged amp running off a combined front right/left channel input (Y-adapters).
The main purpose of a center chan is for immaging, unless you listen to alot of jazz, classical, or live music, you will not notice that much of a difference for the expense.
Good luck.
