Do you like 10"or 12" subs i personally like the kind of bass you get from a 10''s

Assuming we are talking about a 10" and 12" version of the same sub, I think they both have strong qualities. With the 10's, you can get some real tight, clean bass. They can also put out some of the higher frequecy bass notes that 12's can't. But they aren't that strong in the real low frequency area. With 12's, the bass can still be clean and tight but you can also get more excursion because of the bigger cone. This allows them to hit a bit harder than 10's. Also, it allows them to hit those real low bass notes that most 10's can't put out with good quality. And 12's usually have a higher power rating. But with 12's you'll miss out on even more of the higher bass notes that 10's can squeeze out. Of course this only really matters if you aren't running any mid-bass subs in kick panels, which most people rarely do. I'd rather run 12's though if I had the space. It's just my preference!

i think that 10's are better because they are smaller and fit in tighter spaces.

i have one 12 in a small box.... hits insanely hard and people are always surprised when i say i only have one sub... i guess it depends on the sub you get, and the box as well.... all my interiors are infinity, so i went with a infinity kappa perfect 12" dual 4 ohm voice coil sub.... i have them running in parallel, at 2 ohms

j-allan: Don, how can you sleep at night knowing your car is available to drive 24/7? Very, very tasteful mods, IMO, from the signal mirrors to the hids and engine compartment, well done!
Kat_Daddy: btw, i think plat still holds the milly crown here. Don is moving into the #1 contender spot though...

did you fix all the vibrations? after i dynamatted the rear deck and siliconed **** i have 0 vibrations..... you also have to remember to silicone/seal around the license plate cause pressure leaks there.... it also makes the bass deeper cause its not absorbed by anything..... you can feeeeeeeeel the bass in your chest and on your back when you sit in the front, and you get a massage when you sit in the back lol... that new beyonce song "dangerously in love" makes u feel lightheaded in my car cause all the pressure is locked in and there's no vibrations.... cant wait to get my new hu

i don't remember exactly how much i used cause i used the dynamat extreme that my bro gave me..... i was only able to put one layer on though because the clips wouldn't pop in when i tried putting two layers....

and the silicone...... its not the license plate itself that vibrates.... my bad... i meant the license plate lights.... if u stand back there u can hear them, then when u push on them the noise goes away..... clue told me about that little trick... u gotta remove that whole bottom part of the trunk lid, then silicone the **** outta where the lights are...... in addition to that, when i put the bottom part back on, i shot some waterproof expanding foam in there.....
