If your looking for some hard hitting stuff than requiring more wattage is actually a good thing. Don't think of it as requiring more, but rather being able to handle more. This means your able to push the speakers harder and they will still sound un-distorted at higher volumes. That being said if your just looking for a factory upgrade and not lookin to get near comp level than IMO pioneer is fine but there are many other choices you could consider that may give a similar result but cost less.

Heres the specs i got for those speakers
Speaker Diameter: 6" x 9" Nominal (RMS) Output Power: 50 Watt Max (RMS) Output Power: 250 Watt Response Bandwidth: 30 - 30000 Hz Input Impedance: 4 Ohm From what I understand your looking to upgrade for sound quality not to get it louder or more bass or anything like that right? While i'm not real familiar with your stock setup, in most cases replacing factory speakers will result in a improvement in sound quality. How much of an improvement depends on how good your current setup is. If your unhappy with the sound quality from your existing setup and want to upgrade it than i would say these would be ok. Its just that the amount of improvement for some people isnt enough to justify the cost.
