I added a second amp in the boot of my 929 and I got slack and didn't bother running a second RCA lead from the HU to the other amp. The RCA lead I had already had holes ine the back of the connectors so I could daisy-chain a second one. Appart from the loss of independent control of the two amps, am I losing anything by not running another signal. I'm speaking of loss of quality.

Does this mean that I am recieving less of the shared signal, therefore using more gain, thereby amplifying any interference? I'm already considering running another RCA so I can have sub control from the HU.

IMO "Daisy Chaining" is always a bad idea. The quality of your setup will always suffer from it.

I dont think that you will loose anything if you get a line driver... I think that is what it is called..

The voltage drop that occurs by splitting the signal of an RCA cable is negligable. It's so slight, you likely won't even have to make any gain adjustments.

Quality is unaffected unless the additional cable you connect picks up interference and induces it in the other amp.
