i was looking at the TS-A6991R (5 way) http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/p...8472238,00.html

and the TS-D691R (2 way) http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/p...1756446,00.html

the 2-ways are more money....what difference/benefit would i get from the 2-way over the 5-way.

thanks, Rob.

Two good quality drivers with a proper crossover will always sound better than five cheap drivers with no crossover. The 2-way speakers will definately be more natural sounding and probably worth the money...especially if they'll be mounted up front.

I completely agree. The infamous Pioneer 5way 6x9s do deliver good sound quality, however anything considered competition grade is either a two way or a three way speaker system with good crossovers.

lmao thanks for the response dude but i already changed all my speakers. I happen to have the same set up as Drew on that i did it without even knowing he had them. Once i found out he had them it was a def and a keeper. My 6x9 are Boston Acoustics SL90 and my fronts are boston acoustic SR80 (the newer SL80)
