Weird Electric Window Issue (Driver Side)

Hi all,

Weird problem happening with my window, maybe you can help if you have experienced anything similar.

I had left my inside light on over a weekend & needed a jump start 2 weeks ago, since that day, my electric window on the drivers side acts oddly.
When I press the button to put the window down it works fine.
When I press it to go back up, it goes fully up, but then it automatically goes back down half way & stops.

Has anyone had a similar issue & could help me get over this? Its very annoying as I have to gently push the button up in steps to get the window to stay up.

The Mazda dealer has suggested taking off the door panel & resetting the motor, but wants to charge me to do it. Im thinking there could be an easier solution or if I had some guidance I could reset the motor myself,

Any help on this would be very much appreciated
