I realized the hard way (and almost a BAD way) last night that my car has no ABS. I noticed it was about a $400 package option and includes Traction Control. Is this something the dealer can add on for that price or am I pretty much just stuck w/o it?

Conjur,

I would recommend calling up the dealer, parts desk probably, and asking them. If your brakes already have the ability to have ABS just by getting a module it would be easy for you to install. Otherwise I would have the dealer do it. The cost is the module 400+ and the labor... that of course is if your car is ready for it or not. If your brake calibers and such are not prepped for it, the upgrade will be pretty expensive!

Ah. Well, I'll look into it on Monday.

Would have been nice if this car had the ABS package from the factory which also would have had the traction control.

Oh well...winter is only about 2 1/2 mos. long here.
