So I'm looking for a new car and really like the look of the Mazda 6's and some dealerships are offering decent deals on the 2010 Mazda 6s right now.
But I'm having problems finding what exactly the diffrences are between the 2010 and 2011's. Looking specifically at the 2010/2011 Mazda 6 GT-v6s to decide if I want to cash in on the savings or splurge on the new models. Anyone have a spec breakdown or an overview of the biggest diffrences? Thanks! |

I gotta be honest with ya, when you're only comparing the last two years, he's probably right. The only thing i can really tell you i know that has changed has something to do with spiders getting into the vents. Can you imagine something more bizarre or seriously horrifiying. Spriders coming out of the vents, holy cow i would be in the market for a new one after i total the other from the wreck i'm sure i'd cause. I have a 2009 that i've put over 70K miles in two years on with all of it done in Chicago. Mazda 6 is your best bet for a vehicle, wheather you get a brand new one or a so so new one. As long as it is a 2009 or newer, you're in pretty good shape.

2011 was mostly trim and cosmetic changes: headlights, wheels, some interior door panels, new steering wheel. Some of the trim packages were slightly shuffled. Passenger side auto dim exterior mirror was dropped (on respective trim level). Navi added camera. Otherwise mechanically no changes but I think the 6MT is even harder to get. Boo! Engines are the same. If the 2010 has all the features u want, go for it. Re: Spiders in the vents.... There's a vent line in the gas tank that attracted spiders for some reason. That's the vent in question not the interior.
