Hello everyone, I bought a 2004 Mazda 6, V6 with stick for my daughter. We both love it but now it is having a problem starting. It feels like it is lacking fuel at the initial start. It has 124K miles and a very strong runner. I think it is a fuel filter issue.
Any thoughts??? If it is the fuel filter, can someone please send me detailed instructions/video so I can change it and get her back on the road. I found the directions for the 323, but it does not resemble my car at all. Thanks in advance. Pat |

If the problem is your fuel filter, it's pretty simple to change, you can google instructions and should be able to get enough info. But you might want to take it to your Mazda dealer b/c it could also be a problem w/ your sparkplugs or maybe a bad coil.
