Mazzy S MCE triple play..

I am now up to ..count 'em... three milly millers. The latest edition being a 2001 snow white mica/champagne silver which has 145k miles. I have driven it nearly hundred miles since buying it and so far (knock on wood) it is exceeding expectations. I had thought, based on PO's info given, that it was barely running and so I was grabbing it for parts.

Not sure if anybody else has had to do as I have with 2/3 of my millys. I was having a no crank/no start condition and after having monkeyed with pulling the starter and doing various tests, I finally resorted to attaching an add-on grounding strap. It made the difference. That's now two of these cars I have had to do this with.

179K .. she hides her age well

Well,

I think it's time to get her cleaned up and all dolled up. My 'elder-states woman' is the most enjoyable of the trio to drive. Just need to get a PA State inspection in the coming week and then I won't have to have my head on a swivel looking for cops. At the moment though, the MIL/CEL is in its usual condition ... illuminated.. heated O2 sensor malf.. P0138. I'll have to peak under and see if I have a wire minus some insulation as has been the case before. Quite certain the sensors themselves are a non-issue since I replaced all 4 at around 140K miles. I've driven it for about 100-200 miles since sealing up plug wells 2-4-6 with ultra black silicone. Prior to, 2-4 wells were flooded with oil and producing serious misfiring.. ☹️

Now that 2 of 3 of my milly's are back on the road. I gave one to my daughter as her first car and the other is being borrowed by my girlfriend. My last one ..'99S black... I took to the shop a couple doors down froom my house and I have an appointment for Thurs to have them drill out and helicoil (3) broken off bolts in the upper CAC plenum. One of them is the one that secures the bracket containing the ABV solenoids wedged back by firewall and that one is crucial for being grounded and enabling car to start/run. So, I am hoping to have all three back on the road by this time next week...
