Clutch troubles

The clutch on my 1995 B-2300 is sticking. It'll work fine then the pedal will get hard and the clutch won't engage fully. Usually you can hold the idle up andit'll catch and pull good until you try to shift. Park it for a while and it'll "fix" itself. I don't know if it's air in the system or slave cylinder sticking or what! Any ideas or anyone else ran into this? Thanks in advance!!

1. Do you mean "dis-engage" so you can change gears?

2. Or engage like the rpm go up and the truck does not speed up accordingly?

If 1. I'd replace both clutch master and clutch slave cylinder, and flush out all the old fluid and replace with new.

If 2. Clutch is slipping; new pressure plate, new disc, new throughout bearing, resurface flywheel, fix any leaking seals.

The owner of the MazdaTrucking.com site is not involved with the day-to-day running of the site, and he was late paying the fees. The administrators of that site are trying to arrange to get full control from him, so I expect that site to be up and running again soon, with all its data intact. There was a ton of archived information and how-tos there.

Hmmm - I guess original poster Mike never posted back how his truck was fixed...too bad, that's how we all learn.

The owner of that site called himself K6 or something like kyrassis, all I know. Current administrators of the site who are trying to fix it are Axel Breaker Earl, SinCityLocal, and a couple of others.

Me - I never even learned how to type, but at least I'm now up to Windows7.
