Belt makes screeching noise

I have a 2002 Protege LX 2.0, automatic, with power steering and A/C.
I got the alternator and belts changed 2 years ago.
About a month ago, I started to hear a screeching noise after I started driving in the morning, then it stops after about a minute.
I checked the brakes and they are ok.
I figured out that it was the belt around the P/S pump and A/C pump.
The noise has gotten worse and lasts longer, but when I spray the belt with Belt Dressing the screecing noise stops but I continue to hear a clicking sound.
I don't think it's the belt, and the steering seems fine, I haven't turned on the A/C yet.
I just wanted to know if anyone can confirm it's the A/C pump or something else, before I take it to the garage for repair.

The belt may be squealing due to due to improper tension. Try adjusting the tension.

Hey Sonder,

100% agree with BeerGulper. Sometimes the belts squeal even when they seem tight. Make sure the tensioner is working. They often rust up.

Yes, this happens mainly due to the friction from the tensioner.
