Question Wet Floor

I have a Mazda Axela 2005. I have noticed that I have a wet patch in the right rear passenger foot well. Seems to get worse during wet weather. I don't have a sun roof. I have noticed that there were roof racks on the vehicle at some stage in its life, But i don't see how that would get the floor wet. Any ideas what could be the issue here.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Nathan. Her is what we did when finding a leak on powerboats. Run a hose all along the seams and gaskets with the water on full and lay under the dash and watch for the leak.
Are you loosing anti freeze? could it be a heater core.you would smell it in the car. good luck.it can be abugger.
