Need more battery space pls....

Hi there,

I have a 2007 Mazda6 WAGON S…I am looking to increase the battery size in the vehicle and was wondering if there was a way to increase the depth where the battery is located in the car. Alternatively, has anyone done another creative DYI solution to achieve this?

Many thanks in advance all!

I don't know if this helps but in my daughter's 2007 Mazda 3, the transmission bolt is right under the battery tray. No way to get extra room there.

Do you actually need to increase the battery 'physical size' or would you be better off looking for a higher capacity device of the same dimensions as the Std battery?

There is a battery with a higher capacity and the extra room would allow it to fit. We have searched for one with the same or similar size and no luck thusfar. Any ideas would be helpful. TYVM
